NOTICE: Port Houston Weather Update - January 26, 2026, 4 PM

Monday, January 26, 2026, 4 PM Weather Update:

Vessel operations at Bayport and Barbours Cut Container Terminals will resume today, Monday, January 26, at 19:00.

Container terminal gate operations will resume tomorrow, Tuesday, January 27, 2026, for standard operating hours of 6:00 am – 7:00 pm (ingate closes at 6:00 pm).

Please note that import free time will be waived for the day(s) the terminal was closed due to weather. These closure days will not be counted toward the free time provided to ocean carriers. For unit-specific free time inquiries, please contact the ocean carrier directly.

The resumption of vessel operations at Turning Basin Terminal will be determined by the individual stevedores.

NOTICE: New Fleet Week 2026 Dates Announced

Port Houston is honored to serve as the Host Port for Fleet Week Houston. Navy and Coast Guard vessels will be docked along the Houston Ship Channel, the nation’s busiest waterway, making it the perfect setting for this historic celebration.

The Port of Houston Authority (Port Houston) is moving to a new administration building. Please update your records and begin using the mailing address below starting January 22, 2026:

Please note that we will no longer be able to access mail, packages, documents, or other items sent to our current 111 East Loop North address beginning January 22, 2026. Although the physical address is changing, please note that the P.O. Box for invoicing will remain the same.
